Comfort Line
A variety of classic prefinishing options including wire brushing, fuming, staining and coating with UV urethane or our natural hard wax oil. Combine various options for a personalized one-of-a-kind prefinished floor.

TREATMENTS

Filling and Sanding Solid European Oak, only
Single Sanding Solid European Oak, only
Wire Brushing Solid or Engineered - Removes the soft grain creating a textured surface.
Deep Wire Brushing Solid or Engineered - Removes the soft grain creating a heavily textured surface.

Fuming - A warm umber tone achieved by exposing high tannin woods to ammonia. The color change is as deep as staining. The floor may be screened. Shade differences are standard. Applicable on European oak only, solid or engineered

Double Fuming - A darker color than standard fuming, this color penetrates slightly allowing normal sanding.
Shade differences are standard. Applicable on European oak only, solid or engineered.

Deep Fuming - A deep chocolate coloring that penetrates through the wear layer. Deep fumed flooring may be sanded, distressed or wire brushed. Shade differences are standard.Applicable on European oak solid or engineered only, at 9-12% moisture content.

Exquisite Fuming - The ultimate fuming creating a deep, more consistant color. Must be combined with natural oil or UV cure urethane prefinishing. Applicable on European oak solid or engineered only, at 9-12% moisture content.
     


COATINGS

UV cure urethane Satin 6 coats of a scratch resistant satin sheen finish with a 25 year wear warranty.
UV cure urethane Matte 6 coats of a scratch resistant matt sheen finish with a 25 year wear warranty.
Natural oil A very low sheen finish by Rubio Monocoat that is plant-based, VOC-free and completely non-toxic, providing a natural hand rubbed appearance. Not available on Zebrano.
Oxidative oiling (color) Application of our standard or custom colors, minimum quantities apply.
Staining Application of our standard or custom colors, top coated with urethane. Minimum quantities apply.

White wash urethane Wire brushed, stained white and then re-sanded leaving the white stain only in the soft grain. Finished with our 6-coat UV cured urethane. Applicable on Oak or Ash. Incredible on Fumed Oak.
